At Red Hill Lutheran Church & School, we believe that high school is a crucial and integral part of a student's faith journey. We want to facilitate a place where students can grow, find purpose, step into their calling, and truly get to know Jesus for themselves!

STICK TOGETHER
Midweek Teaching Series For September
Think about your favorite adventure stories where friends go on epic journeys, face challenges, and stick together through it all. Those stories make you wonder: Do I have friends like that? Am I that kind of friend? We all want solid friendships with people who stick with us no matter what life brings, and the Bible gives us wisdom about how to build those relationships.
In this 4-week series from the Old and New Testaments, we’ll explore what God has to say about how we can have—and be—good friends. We'll see how every friend will influence you, how wise friends will help guide you, that good friends are worth fighting for, and that you'll always have a friend in Jesus.
Want to learn and grow alongside your kid as we go through this teaching series? You can! Spend a few minutes each week studying the passages of Scripture we'll be teaching, praying about what God wants to do in you and your family, and growing by putting God's words into practice in your own life. Confirmation at Red Hill is a two-year journey that helps students grow in their faith and deepen their understanding of God's Word and Lutheran doctrine. Through this process, students explore Luther's Small Catechism-including the Ten Commandments, Apostles' Creed, Lord's Prayer, Baptism, Communion, Confession, and Forgiveness. Along the way, they build meaningful connections with peers, parents, the pastor, and the church as they prepare to live out their lifelong identity as children of God. We invite all 6th to 9th grade students to join us. Click below for more information.
Family Resource Library
It is a joy and an honor to support and equip entire families through all stages of life. To help in that journey, we offer a fantastic Family Resource Library filled with books covering every developmental phase—from birth through college—as well as a wide range of other topics. These resources are available on the patio each week. For more information or to borrow a resource, contact Beth Stoffregen.

All students participating in our ministry must have a current medical and liability release form on file, renewed annually. We know it may seem lengthy, but it is essential for keeping both your student and our volunteers safe. The current form is valid through spring 2026.

TIMOTHY RIVERA
RHL STUDENT MINISTRY COORDINATOR
Tim has been serving in Middle School and High School Ministry at Red Hill Lutheran Church and School since 2023. A graduate from Cal State Fullerton with a BA in Youth/Adolescent Development, Tim loves connecting with this age group and giving them a place where they can feel safe and ultimately feel the love of Jesus and learn more about Him and how God works in their lives. You can find Tim playing card games with students, talking about all things Star Wars, drinking (too much) coffee, talking about Jesus, or spending time with his wife, Noah.
